We are seeking a skilled and experienced Informatica PowerCenter Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ETL processes and a proven track record of developing, implementing, and optimizing data integration solutions using Informatica PowerCenter. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust, scalable ETL solutions that meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• ETL Development and Design:
• Develop, test, implement, and optimize ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter.
• Design and implement ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading across multiple sources and targets.
• Data Integration:
• Integrate data from various sources, including databases, flat files, and APIs.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the ETL process.
• Performance Optimization:
• Monitor and optimize ETL workflows for performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues related to ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Collaboration and Documentation:
• Work closely with business analysts, data architects, and stakeholders to understand data requirements.
• Prepare detailed documentation for ETL processes, including data mappings, workflows, and design specifications.
• Testing and Validation:
• Perform unit testing, system integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Validate data transformations and ensure accurate data delivery to target systems.
• Maintenance and Support:
• Provide ongoing maintenance and support for existing ETL processes.
• Implement enhancements and resolve defects in a timely manner.
  

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 8+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter development.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in Informatica PowerCenter tools, including Designer, Workflow Manager, and Workflow Monitor.
• Strong SQL skills with experience in relational databases like Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2.
• Experience with scheduling tools like Autosys or Control-M.
• Familiarity with performance tuning of ETL workflows and SQL queries.
• Domain Knowledge:
• Experience in data warehousing concepts, star/snowflake schemas, and dimensional modeling.
• Understanding of data governance, data quality, and metadata management.
• Additional Skills:
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python) for automation.
• Exposure to cloud-based data platforms and tools (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, Azure) is a plus.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Informatica certification is a plus.
• Experience with Big Data integration and tools (e.g., Informatica Big Data Management).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
