Industrial Hardware Sales/Account Manager
Summary
This is a dynamic opportunity for someone eager to grow within a hardware supply company. The role begins with a mix of customer service and product delivery, with a clear path to transition into a full sales-focused position. The Account Manager will build relationships with customers across the Greater Tampa area, ensure timely product delivery, and gradually take on new business development responsibilities. This is an onsite position based in Tampa, with regular travel throughout the surrounding region.
Salary
$40,000–$70,000 base + commission. Includes insurance, cell phone stipend, and gas card
Job Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with industrial hardware customers across the territory. Visit customer locations to assess needs, discuss inventory, and provide restock recommendations. Deliver products to ensure timely, accurate, and professional service. Address customer inquiries and provide product support as needed. Over time, transition into a sales-driven role by identifying new business opportunities and pursuing growth accounts. Track interactions and maintain thorough documentation of customer engagement.
Qualifications
Prior experience in hardware sales or customer service. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently in the field and manage time effectively. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Comfortable traveling throughout the Greater Tampa area.
