Position: Industrial Electrician

Location: Mississauga area, Ontario, Canada

Shift: Continental Rotating Shift (Onsite)

Requirements:

• Certificate of Qualification as an Industrial Electrician #442A or Construction Maintenance Electrician #309A.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Licensed Electrician
• Electrical work experience in automotive industry or food industry required.
• Ability to work independently on troubleshooting machinery and equipment and performing electrical repairs.
• Perform Electrical PM’s on all machinery and equipment
• Knowledgeable on the construction and practical application of the various machines and equipment.
• Run conduits of all sizes, install panel boards and disconnects, wire said devices for feeder and branch circuits.
• Ability to problem solve and repair drive systems on screw and belt type conveyor systems.
• Understand and problem solve various types of drive motors.
• Good knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics and their operation as well as maintenance and repair.
• Ability to perform electrical maintenance of the general plant and building systems and equipment.
• Strong knowledge of computer software and hardware.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electronics
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, Outlook, and TEAMS
• Strong ability to effectively analyze situations and problem solve.
