We are looking for a Test & Automation Engineer specializing in software testing for industrial systems, to contribute to the development and automation of tests for automation solutions.

You will be responsible for verification and development of automated tests for the following components:

•Motion modules of Slice IO (a Schneider Electric platform enabling real-time industrial data management and optimization).

•Edge Compute Node (ECN) of the M580 PLC (very low-level code/Firmware).

•NUA module of the M580 PLC.

Profile & Qualifications

Degree: Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Industrial Computing or equivalent. Experience: Significant experience in software testing and automation within an industrial environment.

Location: Bangalore (No remote)

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and automate tests for industrial solutions
• Write Python scripts to automate tests
• Execute and monitor manual and automated tests to ensure software robustness and quality. Manage and track issues using JIRA and other tracking tools. Work closely with R&D teams to optimize testing strategies and coverage. Analyze test results and write reports on findings and recommendations. Stay updated on new testing methodologies relevant to industrial environments.
