SUMMARY: This position performs a range of inspection and final release acceptance activities on electronic components, printed circuit-boards (PCB), finished printed circuit-board assemblies (PCBA), as well as various metal and plastic fabrications, fixtures, and hardware.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Accurately and consistently apply IPC visual quality acceptability requirements for bare printed circuit boards.
Perform incoming inspection of printed circuit-boards, components, and fabricated parts.
Evaluate parts and subassemblies, including metal and plastic enclosures, during receiving inspection against drawings and blueprints.
Perform acceptance activities applying IPC-600 visual standards, assembly drawings, customer requirements and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Record and analyze inspection results to track performance results and identify trends.
Collaborate with the Quality Assurance Department, Manufacturing Department and Engineering Department to identify and implement continuous process improvement initiatives.
Create non-conformance reports on parts that do not meet specifications.

Must pass a Jaeger eye exam for near vision acuity with corrective lenses, if needed.
