How Will You Make an Impact?

As an Incoming Quality Control (IQC) Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all incoming materials and components meet Customer and Jabil quality standards. Your attention to detail and expertise in inspection processes will help maintain high-quality production, reduce defects, and improve overall manufacturing efficiency.

What Will You Do?

• Perform incoming quality inspections on materials used in manufacturing.
• Support logistics and staging of incoming materials, ensuring proper identification of released and non-conforming (NC) materials.
• Verify material conformance to drawing specifications and industry standards.
• Interpret and apply company and industry specifications or standards to inspections.
• Review material specifications and drawings to identify Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) characteristics for verification.
• Document inspection results and collaborate with internal teams to address quality concerns.
  
  

How Will You Get Here?

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical certification or coursework in quality control, manufacturing, or engineering is a plus.
  
  

Experience:

• Previous experience in electronics, custom mechanical, and sub-assembly component inspections.
• Hands-on experience performing incoming inspections in a manufacturing or quality control environment.
  
  

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, hardness testers, etc.
• Strong understanding of material specifications, blueprints, and engineering drawings.
• Ability to identify and verify Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) characteristics.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
• Prior training or certification in quality control, Six Sigma, or ISO standards.
• Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
