THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Incident Manager to join our Security Operations team. This critical role acts as the central coordinator for security incidents across the business, facilitating timely and effective incident response through structured communication and collaboration.
You will be the bridge between technical incident response teams, the Chief Security Officer, and other key stakeholders—ensuring incidents are managed efficiently, with clear documentation, tracked decisions, and actionable follow-up.
OPPORTUNITIES
- You will act as the central coordinator during security incidents, driving the cadence and communications of the response effort.
- You will schedule and run incident response calls, involving relevant technical and business stakeholders.
- You will maintain the incident timeline, track actions, document decisions, and ensure responsibilities are assigned.
- You will be the pen-holder for minutes, decisions, and post-incident documentation.
- You will work closely with the CSO and Incident Response teams to ensure transparency and progress during live incidents.
- You will ensure incident records are accurate, complete, and stored appropriately.
- You will own the follow-up process, ensuring agreed actions are completed and timelines are met.
- You will write and maintain incident reports to a high professional and technical standard.
- You will coordinate and facilitate retrospectives, capturing lessons learned and identifying improvements to processes or controls.
- You will support continuous improvement of the incident management process and playbooks
Skills
- You should have 3–5+ years in an Incident Manager, Crisis Manager, Operations or Security Operations role.
- You should have strong understanding of security incident response principles and best practices.
- You should have exceptional organization and communication skills.
- You should have experience working with cross-functional teams in high-pressure environments.
- You should be detail-oriented with the ability to drive process, track actions, and follow through independently.
- You should have familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, or incident management platforms (e.g., PagerDuty, ServiceNow, IT Service Desk) is a plus.
- You should have fluency in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in regulated environments (e.g., fintech, banking, healthcare).
- Basic technical understanding of cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.
- Knowledge of frameworks like NIST, SANS or ISO 27035, industry standard security compliance programs PCI (Payment Card Industry), GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)
- Knowledge of security governance, risk and compliance
- ITIL Knowledge (Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Service Management, etc)
- Cloud Knowledge Azure and/or AWS Not Mandatory but good to have professional security certifications such as CompTIA Security+ / Cybersecurity Analyst+, or Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), or CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), or GSEC (GIAC Security Essentials), or GCIH (GIAC Certified Incident Handler)
