Summary

Analyzes the different options to coordinate and document foreign trade operations for local and foreign customs using Systems and Procedures established in the area, applying the corresponding customs legislation. Job Description: 1. Analyzes efficient options to document and coordinate logistics of shipments. Follows up with materials in transit for Import/Export. 2. Uses established systems and procedures, generates documentation required at International and Mexican customs, such as Import/Export invoices, calculation of tariffs, as well as Control of Equipment and Materials imported and exported to and from Mexico based on knowledge of regulations and non-tariff restrictions applicable to operations. 3. Proposes logistic routes for new products and/or improvement in cost reduction and maintains direct communication with customs agents in Mexico and in foreign countries, checkers, documenters, transportation companies and warehouse workers in order to guarantee flow of materials. 4. Ensures compliance with security programs and/or certifications (C-TPAT, OEA (Authorized Economic Operator), VAT) in their processes and/or logistic flows. 5. Exerts a broad command in use of Annex 24 system (Control System of Foreign Trade Inventories) and contributes to maintaining it by complying with the established procedures. 6. Participates and/or elaborates procedures and/or operation manuals for customs compliance. Responsible for the review, protection and customs compliance with regard to Foreign Trade records. 7. Manages the ERP system to draw information for operations of Foreign Trade. 8. Interacts with suppliers, transportation companies to achieve the goals. Supports in the process of classification and audit of payments related to transportation, customs agents and warehouses. 9. Has the capacity to Audit in accordance with an established procedure, documents, operations and files related to foreign trade. Coordinates and authorizes closing of pedimentos as applicable and may analyze and propose the application of tariff benefits. 10. Collects and audits the Certificates of Origin according to established procedures. 11. Participates in activities of discharging, balance adjustments, analyses of annex 24 and 31. Requirements: - Bachelor´s degree in Foreign Trade, Customs, International Businesses or related field. - At least 3 years of experience in a similar role. - Conversational English Level.
