Summary

Provide systems integration and support services in support of interactive data wall applications and integration of both hardware and software. Communicate and interact directly to support end users in questions and/or problem resolution. Document any and all work performed in support of customers in Confluence and Netsuite. Works with the technical support team in handling Level 2 and 3 system issues both onsite and remotely. Must have extensive troubleshooting ability via onsite work or remote mechanisms to the customer base. Can train customers when required. Actively participate in the technical planning activities for customer projects. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Actively participate in the technical planning activities which includes meetings and technical guidance thereafter for our customer projects Install/Upgrade Activu software suite to the integrated solution both onsite and remotely Configure Activu software suite, including but not limited to all software settings, database configuration, define rights and permissions for groups, define sources (video, web, application, etc.), scripting for custom configurations, etc. Provide integration and support services such as but not limited to system software upgrades, device driver updates, IP changes, firewall/NAT explanation, advanced system configurations, etc. Remote and onsite Project punch list remediation related to integration of active customer projects Troubleshooting of the integrated solution as necessary, which includes addressing hardware and configuration issues, and identifying software/OS issues and reporting bugs to QA both onsite and remotely. Troubleshooting system configuration, network and software/OS issues Troubleshoot display equipment as needed, including interpreting any error codes, determining cable vs. display issues, etc. Perform Preventative Maintenance Visits to customers in the DC Metro Area Documenting all customer issues for use by support staff and management Training on the integrated solution to client base when necessary Mandatory Oncall rotation EDUCATION Associated Required, Bachelors Preferred EXPERIENCE / SKILLS / CERTIFICATIONS Minimum of 5 years of IT experience required Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a customer support/service environment required CTS certification preferred Network+ and/or Security+ or comparable required Minimum one year experience installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining complex TCP/IP network security, routing, and physical network topologies Minimum of one year of experience as an Implementation Engineer for Activu or similar role with another company Experience with QQSYS and/or Crestron based system preferred Experience with either Netsuite cloud applications or other similar CRM systems Experience using Atlassian products JIRA and Confluence or other similar systems preferred Experience performing component and interface level integration and stability tests Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills with HP, Dell, AMD, NVidia and other IT client systems Performing administrator function in a Windows environment, preferably in a cable, telecommunications or audio/visual environment Performing installs and troubleshooting of Windows software, network and operating system components Proven communication skills relative to the application of technical products and business issues Understanding of network configurations to properly configure/troubleshoot where necessary Training experience preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills required Travel up to 80% of the time in the DC Metro Area, 20% to other areas of the US Other tasks assigned by Management from time to time MS Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022 MS Windows 10/11 MS Office suite PLEASE READ: Activu Corporation is a Federal and State Contractor. All applicants are subject to Drug Testing and Background Testing before hire. PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT Majority of time at installation and supported sites as part of daily routine. May on occasion be required to lift equipment, tools, materials, and load and unload equipment weighing a minimum of 50 pounds.
