Maxim Software Systems is a family-like and vibrant tech company that develops, supports and sells MaxiDent – a suite of software solutions - to dentists, denturists and hygienists across Canada and internationally.
Our purpose is to empower health professionals with intelligent software while touching their hearts with exceptional service. Our exceptional service component is delivered through an innovative service structure we call our "Success Teams".
In line with our purpose, the Implementation Specialists work with offices from even before the sale is closed until live (and ongoing) and working with part or all of our product suite. While the majority of training is completed over a remote connection, travel opportunities may be up to 1 – 2 weeks per month across Canada, when we're not in COVID travel restrictions.
As part of their responsibilities, the Implementation Specialists are completing most or all of the following items, usually with several offices on the go at various stages of completion:
Coordinating installation of software with office’s technicians and our in-house technicians, may involve office’s technician with hardware
Managing each sale that is assigned to your region as an on-going project
Interviewing dental Office Managers regarding current office processes to customize the database and training for the office
Ordering / coordinating various add-on services to be installed or deployed for the office, some are in-house orders others require outside processing
Evaluating training time purchased vs office needs, discussing with the Account Manager and the office if changes are required
Prepping and delivering training specific to the office’s purchase and needs. Prep can include booking flights, hotel, etc..., for onsite training delivery.
Post training paperwork – summary of training, Continuing Education, onsite summaries
Our Implementation Specialists are an integral part of our QA department, with a strong impact on the quality of features incorporated / developed in our products. They are uniquely placed at the forefront of both requests and development to follow items from idea to reality. To accomplish this, Implementation Specialists will post items to programming, complete with description of desired functionality, and when ready, test items in a timely manner to provide feedback on the development of the software.
A little more about us, among the special perks for being a member of our team include participation in periodic Foosball tournaments with prizes, an oxygen-bar, occasional "paint-nite" events and an annual $500 contribution to continuous education of your choice. Many of our team are also working from home and coming to the office occasionally as required.
We are looking for an energetic, organized, confident and experienced individual who would be responsible for implementation projects for new and existing clients. Candidates with strong technical / computer skills and experience in adult education are ideally suited to the position. If you want to experience an easy-going work environment with amazing people (who become family), please consider applying.
