Coastal Payroll is currently looking to hire an
Implementation Specialist III, General Ledger to join our Implementation team to establish rapport with clients, managing the implementation timeline, scheduling, data collection and training for General Ledger service line.
What You'll Do
- Work directly with client contacts to obtain necessary financial data.
- Build, test, and troubleshoot General Ledger setups within the isolved payroll platform, ensuring accurate payroll reporting and integration with other financial systems.
- Comparing General Ledger entries with source accounting data to ensure accuracy.
- Perform audits to ensure the accuracy and functionality of setups and data input within the accounting system.
- Train customers to use and maintain the General Ledger platform and manage financial reporting.
- Manage the implementation and execution of 3rd party integrations, ensuring seamless connectivity between the General Ledger system and other financial systems.
- Set up and train clients on advanced General Ledger features, including but not limited to, financial reconciliation processes, reporting standards, and audit trails.
- Communicate with clients as needed to answer questions related to the use of the General Ledger system.
- Provide ongoing support to General Ledger Clients.
What You'll Bring
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards, including debits and credits.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to problem solve with solution-based approach.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent client service skills.
- Must be a team player who can meet deadlines, and exhibit an elevated level of detail-orientation, time management, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Proficiency or extensive experience in accounting software and General Ledger systems, such as QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP, or similar platforms.
- Ability to use or learn multiple systems including Smartsheet, isolved, Salesforce, Zoom, etc.

Salary: $26 - $28 per hour
