Summary

Who we are

Bonsai is healthcare’s first revenue automation platform. We work with healthcare providers across the US, using AI to turn practices’ data into revenue. Bonsai’s software as a service (SaaS) solution identifies hidden revenue opportunities in providers’ practices and finds ways to bring that revenue back into the practice. Led by a proven group of founders who have worked in healthtech SaaS for 10 years and backed by local strategic investors, we are a fast-growing startup with a small team that is ready to scale our processes and customer base. We are looking for an Implementation Specialist to join our team and serve a critical business function, blending project management and customer success.

You’ll be part of a supportive, collaborative team that values learning, feedback, and celebrating shared wins. Bonsai offers opportunities for growth and the chance to make an impact from day one.

Location: Hybrid (El Segundo, CA) - 3 days/week on-site

The role

As an Implementation Specialist you will own a key piece of the customer journey, serving as the point of contact post-sales, guiding new customers through the implementation process as they onboard with our solution. You will develop and adhere to project plans; communicate professionally with a variety of customer stakeholders; understand clients’ goals and provide guidance on best practices. You will serve as a key voice of the customer with internal stakeholders as we scale.

You will:

  • Perform setup tasks to onboard customers onto the product
  • Own the customer relationship throughout implementation and for a period after launch
  • Balance multiple customer onboardings, supporting roughly 20 clients at a time
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with clients via video, phone, email, and text message
  • Build strong relationships with customers to ensure they start their journey with Bonsai on the right foot
  • Serve as a critical voice of the customer internally, working cross functionally to meet customers’ needs, provide product feedback, and meet the needs of the business

About You

We’re looking for the right candidate to join our team. Is this you?

You…

  • Have worked in customer-facing roles, ideally at other B2B software companies.
  • Are extremely organized and use this skill to create and execute on multiple project plans at once.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize your task list every day come naturally to you.
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills, and know how to adjust your communication style based on your audience.
  • Take a customer-centric approach, leading with patience and empathy and adeptly translating customer needs to fit the business.
  • Are not intimidated to join an early-stage startup. You thrive in an environment that is fast- paced and you don’t get flustered by priorities and processes that shift often. You proudly take accountability for your work.
  • Feel comfortable with ambiguity, quickly solving problems and confidently addressing customer needs even if there is no clear standard operating procedure.
  • Like to learn and are eager to get curious and think critically to understand the “how” and “why” behind how software works.
  • Look forward to working cross functionally, giving and receiving feedback as we scale.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in customer-facing roles, including internships, Customer Support roles, Sales Development roles, or roles in adjacent industries
  • Proven project management skills, with past experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, scrappy environment
  • Solutions oriented, with a bias for action and an openness to feedback
  • Experience using Salesforce or another CRM preferred
  • Experience in healthcare is a plus

We’re excited to meet the right candidate who’s ready to grow with us. This is a great opportunity to grow your career in customer success and project management. If you’re passionate about technology, healthcare, and helping customers succeed, we’d love to hear from you!

Compensation: $55K-$65K, dependent on background and experience; healthcare, dental, and vision insurance; paid time off
