Your role

As an Impact Manager at Inyova, you will join the sustainability-dedicated Impact Team at Inyova. You will be the centre of Inyova's impact efforts and will get to work on a broad range of exciting topics, specifically:

  • Engagement & Stewardship. You will be directly involved in Inyova's impact initiatives, helping to shape, execute and document engagement campaigns to get companies to change for good, and build out new processes in an exciting and impactful area. You will also be involved in developing and implementing our proxy voting strategy.
  • Sustainability Impact Analysis & Research. You will conduct qualitative and quantitative research on individual companies together with our Investment Office to ensure their fit with sustainability topics and goals. Furthermore, you will help identify new companies and other investment vehicles to make our portfolios even more impactful. Part of your role will also include reviewing the sustainability and impact of green projects within our Inyova Grow offering.

Sustainability Impact Communication. You will collaborate with the product and marketing teams to make sure our impact excites our customers. You will help to create impact-related content, such as impact news and company descriptions, as well as identify and research opportunities and hot topics to engage customers through articles on the website. You also get the chance to represent Inyova at customer-facing events and engagement-related efforts (e.g. webinars, AGMs).

Your profile

You are successful if more people are excited about impact investing every day.

As the Impact Manager at Inyova, you:

  • Are excited about the Inyova mission to mainstream impact investing and naturally curious about sustainability in investments, with a strong interest in impact research.
  • Have first experience (1-3 years) in an impact- or sustainable-investing-related role, at a financial institution, financial services company or in the sustainability / CSR team of a real economy corporate.
  • Have experience in one or more of the following areas
    • Analysing and working with sustainability datasets (e.g. ISS ESG, MSCI)
    • Quantitative and/or qualitative research of companies with a focus on sustainability
    • Developing and/or executing shareholder engagement campaigns
    • Communicating impact and sustainability initiatives, engagement or research
  • Are good with numbers, able to analyse large data sets and experienced using MS Excel. Additional technical competencies, such as Python and SQL, are a plus.
  • Are fully proficient in spoken and written German and English.
  • Having experience writing customer-oriented and easy-to-understand texts about sustainability, especially in a B2C context, is a plus.
  • Are able to do thorough, clean work with an eagle eye for details and excellent time management.
  • Are keen on taking ownership of your own projects and responsibilities.
