Description
SAIC is seeking an experienced Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) Engineer. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong leadership skills to manage and modernize ICAM systems, ensuring robust security and regulatory compliance across the organization. The ideal candidate will be capable of driving ICAM initiatives, working collaboratively with various teams, and serving as a pivotal point of contact for ICAM-related matters.
Key Responsibilities
Subject Matter Expertise and Advisory
Provide expert advice on identity governance and access provisioning.
Stay updated on ICAM trends and technologies.
ICAM Program Operation
Operate a comprehensive ICAM program.
Enhance security posture and streamline operations.
Policy and Technology Management
Design, implement, and manage ICAM policies, procedures, and technologies.
Manage digital identities, credentials, and access controls.
Modernization and Integration
Evaluate and modernize existing ICAM ecosystem.
Migrate to or integrate with enterprise ICAM solutions.
Framework Deployment
Lead deployment of a unified identity management framework.
Ensure secure and seamless user authentication and authorization processes.
Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) Implementation
Implement phishing-resistant MFA methods.
Prevent unauthorized access.
Credential Management
Standardize issuance, management, and revocation processes.
Align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements (e.g., NIST, FISMA).
Collaboration and Integration
Work with internal teams to integrate ICAM technologies across systems.
Cover both cloud and on-premises environments.
Monitoring and Assessment
Regularly assess ICAM effectiveness.
Identify improvement areas and enhance identity management solutions.
Compliance
Ensure ICAM program compliance with federal regulations and industry standards.
Align with cybersecurity frameworks.
Operational Metrics
Develop and track ICAM operational metrics.
Report program effectiveness to stakeholders.
Point of Contact
Serve as the primary ICAM contact.
Guide teams through ICAM best practices.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience
Minimum 8 years in cybersecurity with a focus on ICAM or related disciplines.
Certifications
IAT Level III certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or equivalent).
Skills and Expertise
Proven ICAM solution design and deployment experience.
Strong understanding of identity management, credentialing, and access control technologies.
Expertise in MFA and secure authentication methods.
Knowledge of federal cybersecurity regulations (e.g., NIST, FISMA).
Leadership in modernizing and integrating identity management solutions in large organizations.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
