ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade 1 certificationCity of LA a plusExperience in preparing reports ability to readinterpret drawings technical knowledge and strong oral and written communication skillsStrong problem solving and organizational skillsStrong personal safety awarenessConfirm recommendations of the geotechnical engineer as described in the geotechnical reports are implemented by the earthwork contractorMust be able to read and understand plans and specificationsKeep an organized field file containing field and laboratory data reports letters and other pertinent field documentationConfirm adherence to current regulatory agencys grading ordinances and building codesBe attentive to detail and concentrate efforts on learning technical skillsKeep up to date on a daily basis all current projects via project managers and other techniciansinspectorsCommunicate clearly and daily with their direct supervisor and with the project manager regarding all aspects of the field operations including bringing on site issues to the project managers attention prepare and review all field paperwork maps and test sheets and submit them on a dailyweekly basisPerform in place density tests using the sand cone methodFlexibility to work outside normal business hours as required including nights weekends and the occasional HolidayMinimum requirements High school or GED requiredA valid drivers license is requiredMust be able to lift 50 poundsAt least 3 years of Field and Construction ExperienceMust pass drug test physical background check and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Companys driving MVR policyMust be able to pass a background check for clearance to work on military installations and school projectsTechnical requirements ICCs
