At MAN Energy Solutions Hellas we are looking for an I&C Commissioning Field Service Engineer to join our PrimeServ Industries department.

In this position, your duty would be to supervise and execute field service work, onshore and offshore within Europe.

You will be stationed at MAN Energy Solutions premises in Piraeus.

We can offer you the following tasks

• Perform basic control system work and adjustments during service and overhauls on turbomachinery and auxiliary systems.
• Install, test, and commission process control systems on new and existing turbomachines and ancillary systems.
• Adjust and replace instruments, transmitters, positioners, PLCs, controllers, and other control equipment.
• Implement software modifications and carry out changes in control and visualization systems according to MDT requirements.
• Commission field instrumentation, including calibration checks, loop-checks, motor control centres, motors, and control valves.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with control systems, remote data transfer systems, and other control equipment.
• Check and adjust start-up interlock alarms and shut-down systems (engine protection) in collaboration with the mechanical commissioning engineer.

You Can Help Us With These Qualifications

• Successfully completed degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or a comparable degree
• Extensive knowledge and experience of relevant commissioning of electromechanical,instrumentation, control systems and pressurized systems (PCS7, Allen Bradley, etc.)
• Hands-on knowledge of DCS, PLC systems and programming of ladder logic, function block or other PLC’s programming language and with good understanding in technical drawing.
• Professional experience in the field of worldwide commissioning as well as in Turbomachinery area
• Willingness to take responsibility and the ability to work independently
• Ability to work in a team
• Flexibility and mobility due to the changing locations at home and abroad foreign countries
• Fluency in English and good command of Greek language
• Driving licence
