Essential Skills (Two top skills)
Experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS)
Hands-on experience in migrating legacy WebSphere environments to Liberty on AWS
Solid knowledge of AWS cloud services, including EC2, EKS, IAM.
Proficiency in Java/J2EE development
Experience with CI/CD pipeline development using tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven, or similar.

Experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS)
Hands-on experience in migrating legacy WebSphere environments to Liberty on AWS
Solid knowledge of AWS cloud services, including EC2, EKS, IAM.
Proficiency in Java/J2EE development
Experience with CI/CD pipeline development using tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven, or similar.
Experience with IBM MQ
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
Exposure to Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, or API Gateway
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Knowledge of compliance and security best practices in cloud-based environments
Roles and Responsibilities
End-to-end migration of middleware services from IBM WebSphere on-prem to WebSphere Liberty on AWS
Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
Refactor or re-engineer Java applications as needed for compatibility with Liberty.
Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and development teams to ensure successful deployment and integration.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, test, and production environments.
Monitor system performance and scalability post-migration and optimize as necessary.
Ensure compliance with best practices and organizational standards for security, reliability, and performance.
