Job Title: IAM Project Manager (PMP Certified)

Location: Hybrid 2 days Austin, TX

Pay Rate: $70 $75/hr W2

Job Type: Contract Long Term

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Identity and Access Management (IAM) Project Manager to lead and coordinate IAM initiatives across enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will hold an active PMP certification and bring strong technical knowledge of IAM platforms, tools, and best practices. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams including IT security, compliance, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure secure and efficient access control across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of IAM projects.
• Collaborate with IAM engineers, security architects, and business stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and milestones.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, risks, and deliverables in accordance with PMP principles.
• Drive implementation and integration of IAM solutions such as Okta, SailPoint, Azure AD, Ping Identity, or similar.
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards including SOX, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
• Develop and maintain project documentation including project plans, status reports, and risk logs.
• Facilitate change management and training activities related to IAM initiatives.
• Manage vendor relationships and third-party integrators as needed.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 5 8+ years of Project Management experience in IT Security or IAM-related domains.
• PMP Certification Required and up to date.
• Proven experience delivering IAM or IT Security projects (e.g., user provisioning, SSO, MFA, RBAC).
• Strong understanding of IAM lifecycle, governance, and access certification processes.
• Familiarity with industry-standard IAM tools (Okta, SailPoint, Azure AD, etc.).
• Exceptional stakeholder communication and team leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
