Position Summary:
We are searching for a Hygiene Coordinator to join our team. They will be responsible for managing and scheduling hygiene appointments, coordinating with patients and dental staff, and maintaining an efficient workflow within the hygiene department.

What we offer:
$19-$28 hourly, based on level of experience
Monday- Friday schedule
Medical (at 2 months)
In House Dental (after 1 year)
PTO (after 1 year)
36 hours of sick time (immediately)
401K (after 1 year)

Scheduling and Patient Management:
Scheduling: Creating and managing the hygiene schedule, ensuring optimal use of time and accommodating patient preferences.
Communication: Contacting patients to schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments.
Recall System: Maintaining a recall system to ensure regular hygiene appointments are scheduled.
Patient Records: Updating and maintaining accurate patient records, including appointments and insurance information.
Patient Education: Assisting patients in understanding their treatment plans and providing basic dental hygiene information.
Insurance Coordination: Verifying insurance coverage and assisting with claims.
Administrative and Operational Tasks:
Workflow Coordination: Ensuring an efficient and organized workflow within the hygiene department.
Room Preparation: Cleaning, stocking, and preparing treatment rooms prior to appointments.
Patient Greeting: Greeting and seating patients upon arrival.
Chart Management: Maintaining and updating patient charts.
X-ray Processing: Taking, processing, and mounting x-rays.
Skills and Qualifications:
Excellent Organizational Skills
Strong Communication Skills
Customer Service Skills.
Proficient Computer Skills
Eaglesoft Experience, a plus
Bilingual: English/Spanish, A plus
