The Test technician will be responsible for testing and evaluating incoming assemblies (Spool and Sleeve Assemblies), determining the extent of necessary repairs and ability to repair and complete final testing of lap assemblies. The technician will need to be familiar with flow grinding parts, using grinding tools for modifying laps and final testing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ability to measure flows, leakage and force and the ability to measure and plot or record results also required.
Ability to lap fit and adjust clearance, hone to specifications, measure clearances using micrometers, micro caters, calipers and any other measuring device needed.
The technician will need to have the ability to follow instructions, assemble some parts as well as possess good practices for working with O-rings and specialty seals.
Qualified candidates will need to have good communications skills as well as a high degree of attention to detail. Good troubleshooting skills also desired.
Properly interface with other managers, engineering and supervisors, as well as, all employees at all times.
Take the initiative to make things better.

Education / Experience Requirements: High School Diploma or GED and Post High School Education. 1-3 years of relevant experience.
