Associate’s degree in relevant area and two years of appropriate experience in installation, maintenance & repair of HVAC equipment. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.

Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license. Requires Universal EPA certification.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.

Special Conditions Work Schedule

Saturday – Wednesday

3:30 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.

Must be able to work periodic overtime and address after hour emergencies when necessary.

This position has been designated as emergency crucial.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle or feel. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds and push or pull up to 1000 pounds with appropriate tools or moving equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and color vision. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and humid conditions, fumes and airborne particles, toxic chemicals, close spaces and is required to climb ladders to access equipment in high and/or precarious places. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Attends meetings, briefings, and training classes to increase knowledge and job performance.

Order supplies, maintain inventory, track time, refrigerant usage, complete daily timecards, write requisitions for materials/parts.

Performs preventive maintenance on heating and cooling system equipment.

Repair or replace other cooling or mechanical equipment including refrigerators, freezers, pumps and shop equipment.

Responds to cold or hot calls; starts or stops chillers and boilers. Performs

minor general maintenance work to include plumbing and electrical repairs

as needed.

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair/replace heating and cooling system equipment including DX systems, AHUs (air handling unit), louvers, dampers, motors, pumps, VAVs, actuators.

Duties & Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and resolve problems in heating and air conditioning systems. Locates problems and repairs or replaces defective parts.
