Job Title: HVAC Estimator Job Description Seeking a skilled HVAC Estimator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for HVAC installation and service projects. You will work closely with project managers, clients, and suppliers to ensure timely and precise quotes that align with both company goals and client expectations. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems. Responsibilities * Review project specifications, blueprints, and drawings to assess HVAC project requirements. * Calculate project costs, including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead. * Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for HVAC installation, service, and retrofit projects. * Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to develop competitive proposals and bids. * Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and recommend alternative solutions. * Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors. * Conduct site visits to assess job conditions and gather necessary data for accurate estimates. * Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and company standards. * Track and manage estimates through the approval process. * Provide support during project execution to monitor cost control and schedule adherence. * Communicate with vendors and send quotes. * Responsible for doing submittals. Essential Skills * Proven experience as an HVAC Estimator or in a similar role within the HVAC industry. * Strong understanding of HVAC systems, components, and installation processes. * Knowledge of industry codes, regulations, and safety standards. * Proficiency in estimating software (Procore, Buildertrend, or equivalent). * Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications * Further education or certifications in HVAC, construction management, or related fields is a plus. Work Environment The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
