Your mission
Sportec Solutions, a joint venture between Deltatre and the DFL Group based in Munich (germany), has been developing innovative sports technologies for capturing, analyzing, and utilizing match data since 2016. Our solutions – including goal-line technology and the Video Assistant Referee – help sports organizations worldwide unlock the full potential of their data.
For our subsidiary in Arlington, we are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Human Resources Specialist to join our team and play a key role in supporting our people-focused initiatives.
The position is initially designed as a 40%-50% role (16-20 hours per week) and is to be performed on-site. An extension of the hours is possible if the workload increases.
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screenings, interviews and onboarding
- Administer payroll for permanent staff, seasonal personnel, and part-time employees using the TriNet platform, and manage employee benefits programs while supporting the annual enrollment process
- Serve as a point of contact for employee relations, addressing concerns and fostering a positive workplace culture
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with company goals and ensure compliance with legal regulations
- Maintain detailed records, ensuring all reports, disposition notes, candidate records, and other documentation are complete to support thorough and accurate reporting
- The role may include occasional support with basic office management
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in human resources, preferably in the tech or IT industry
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, payroll and best practices
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in HR software and tools (e.g., Personio)
- Trusted to manage confidential information with the utmost professionalism
- Enjoys taking initiative while also being a strong team player
