We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Representative to join our growing team in either Cleveland or Toledo, Ohio. This entry-to-mid level role is ideal for someone with foundational HR experience who is ready to take the next step in their career. The HR Representative will play a key role in supporting day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, compliance, employee relations, and recordkeeping.
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 annually (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:
Assist with full-cycle recruitment efforts: posting jobs, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth employee experience.
Maintain and update employee records in HRIS and personnel files.
Track timecards, PTO requests, and support payroll processing activities.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and procedures in a timely and professional manner.
Support compliance with state and federal employment laws and company policies.
Assist with employee relations issues by documenting concerns and escalating when appropriate.
Help coordinate training programs, employee engagement activities, and staff meetings.
Participate in audits, reporting, and special projects as assigned by HR leadership.
Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
1-3 years of experience in an HR or administrative role (healthcare or behavioral health setting a plus)
Working knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and recordkeeping requirements
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with HRIS systems preferred
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
PHR or SHRM-CP certification (or in progress)
Familiarity with Ohio labor laws and Medicaid compliance (if applicable)
Experience supporting multi-site or multi-location organizations.
