Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources desired, not required.
Minimum 7 years of work experience with multistate payroll and benefits management.
Technical skills with MS Office including Excel. Experience with payroll software / HRIS systems.
Prior experience with UKG is highly desirable, Kronos software knowledge is a plus.
Experience in the manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
Experience with EHS (Employee Health and Safety) is a plus.
Duties
Full responsibility for the production of payroll for 250 employees working in the engineering and manufacturing industry.
This includes processing salary and hourly employee time sheets and special pay types, PTO calculations, deductions, garnishments, expense reimbursements, adjustments, etc.
Provide benefits administration by maintaining up to date knowledge of the details on all plans offered, managing annual open enrollment, enrolling/disenrolling employees ongoing, reconciling monthly carrier invoices, addressing all questions regarding eligibility and company policies from the staff, and handling payroll and benefits communications.
Produce specific payroll and benefits reporting and requests for information. Provide information to accounting and human resources teams. Collaborate and problem solve issues as they arise.
Provide support for all internal and external audits.
