Job Overview:

We are seeking a HR Operations Manager at a junior to mid-level to join our dynamic team. This role is based in Brisbane CBD, but we welcome remote candidates within Australian time zones. Initially part-time, this position offers the opportunity to transition to a full-time role by June as the business expands.

The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker, a problem solver, and someone who thrives in fast-paced environments. With at least 1 year of experience in task management and recruitment, you will oversee marketing operations, optimize processes, and recruit and train new team members. You must be comfortable working in a high-energy, results-driven atmosphere and have a strong understanding of social media marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

1. HR & Operations Management:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple marketing campaigns (including TikTok, Reddit, and SEO), ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
• Resolve operational issues quickly and effectively to maintain workflow and productivity.

2. Recruitment & Staff Management:

• Manage recruitment for marketing-related roles, train and onboard new hires, and continuously evaluate performance to meet company goals.
• At least 1 year of experience in recruitment is required, with a focus on sourcing, hiring, and managing remote and in-house teams.

3. Task Management & Tracking:

• Utilize task management tools (e.g., Monday.com) to track progress on marketing operations, tasks, and deadlines.
• Ensure all projects are completed on time and in accordance with expectations, with at least 1 year of task management experience.

4. Creative Problem Solving:

• Develop creative solutions for marketing challenges, such as finding ways to work around platform restrictions (e.g., Reddit bans) or improving performance for low-engagement campaigns.

5. Content Strategy & Viral Marketing:

• Help develop and manage viral content strategies, understanding what content resonates with younger audiences (ages 15-23) on platforms like TikTok and Reddit.

Skills & Experience:

1. People Skills & Leadership:

• Proven ability to lead, train, and manage teams, with 1-on-1 interaction experience (e.g., in roles such as teaching, consulting, or customer-facing positions).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with diverse teams.

2. Creative & Critical Thinking:

• Ability to think outside the box and develop innovative solutions to marketing and operational challenges.
• Must be able to evaluate strategies critically and make adjustments where necessary to achieve optimal results.

3. Task Management & Organization:

• 1+ year of experience using task management software (e.g., Monday.com) to track progress across multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks at once.

4. Efficiency Under Pressure:

• Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure environments, whether working in a fast-paced job or handling multiple deadlines in university coursework.

5. Social Media & Viral Content Experience:

• Strong knowledge of social media platforms, especially TikTok and Reddit.
• Experience creating viral content for younger audiences (ages 15-23), with a proven track record of generating high engagement on social media.

6. Quick Learner & Adaptable:

• Demonstrated ability to quickly pick up new tools and strategies to work more efficiently than the average person.

Pay & Work Schedule:

• Part-time: $40k+ AUD per year (minimum of 3 hours per day, including weekends).
• Full-time (From June): $80k+ AUD per year, depending on performance.
