HireLoft Recruitment is partnering with a confidential client in the retail/distribution sector to hire a Human Resources Manager. This role will be critical in overseeing day-to-day HR operations while helping the business navigate key transitions.

🧠 What You’ll Be Doing:

✔ Leading Canadian HR operations as the new Human Resources Manager

✔ Supervising a small team of HR and Payroll

✔ Acting as a backup for payroll when needed

✔ Managing payroll systems

✔ Partnering with U.S.-based senior leadership and providing employee guidance

📍 Location & Schedule:

Hybrid role – 3 days onsite in Vaughan, ON

👤 Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 5–8+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally as a Human Resources Manager
• CHRP Certification (or in final stages)
• Strong understanding of payroll and ability to step in if required
• Comfortable managing direct reports and working cross-functionally
• Experience in change management, restructuring, or M&A environments
• Clear, confident communicator who thrives in evolving settings
