Position Overview:

We’re seeking a self-motivated and hands-on HR Manager to join our growing company. As the sole member of our Human Resources department, you’ll wear many hats and play a key role in shaping and supporting the employee experience across all three locations. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy workplace environment, is preferably bilingual (English/Spanish), and brings a strong foundation in HR practices, payroll, and employment law relevant to Oregon, Washington, and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary HR contact across three regional locations
• Process and manage bi-weekly payroll through ADP Workforce Now (preferred)
• Oversee recruiting, onboarding, and employee lifecycle processes
• Administer benefits and respond to employee inquiries
• Ensure compliance with all applicable state (OR, WA) and federal employment laws
• Maintain HR records and reporting in accordance with legal and policy requirements
• Provide guidance and support to managers on employee relations, performance issues, and disciplinary matters
• Lead employee engagement and retention efforts
• Develop and maintain policies, handbooks, and training materials
• Partner with leadership on organizational development and workforce planning

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of general HR management experience, preferably in a distribution or manufacturing environment
• Solid knowledge of Oregon, Washington, and federal employment laws
• Experience processing payroll, preferably using ADP Workforce Now
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• High level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism
• Bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred
• HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) a plus but not required
