Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled human resources officer to play a crucial role in supporting the HR functions for both labour staff and office workforce at our manufacturing plants. In this position, you will act as a bridge between management and employees, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and compliant HR operation. The HR Officer will oversee the HR needs of a workforce of 200+ employees, help to build a positive workplace culture, and ensure smooth day-to-day HR functions in a dynamic manufacturing environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full spectrum of HR operations for the manufacturing plants including labor staff
  • and office workforce.
  • Manage daily attendance, leave management, shift scheduling, and tracking of labor force
  • productivity.
  • Handle end-to-end recruitment for both labor and office staff, ensuring a continuous pipeline of talent for both production and administrative roles.
  • Maintain up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory
  • requirements.
  • Assist in payroll processing by validating attendance data, leave records, and statutory
  • deductions.
  • Ensuring the implementation of Quality Control Systems in which workforce is trained on quality standards, hygiene protocols and standard operating procedures (SOP)
  • Collaborate with QC and production teams to enforce discipline and compliance 
  • Address and resolve employee grievances and conflicts, acting as the first point of contact
  • for employee-related issues.
  • Organize and execute regular training and development programs related to safety,
  • technical skills, and company policies.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws such as PF, ESI, Factories Act, and other relevant
  • regulations.
  • Foster a positive company culture, helping to drive employee engagement and retention.
  • Support management in performance reviews, feedback mechanisms, and employee
  • motivation programmes.
  • Ensure proper documentation for employee contracts, performance appraisals, and
  • statutory filings.
  • Contribute to the implementation of employee wellness programs and safety protocols
  • across the plant.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
  • 4 to 6 years of HR experience, ideally in a manufacturing, industrial, or labor-intensive
  • environment.
  • Strong understanding of Indian labor laws, statutory compliance, and employee welfare
  • regulations.
  • Experience managing large, diverse workforces including both labor staff and office
  • employees.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, HRIS, and attendance management systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle employee grievances efficiently.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Fluent in English and local languages.
