Summary

At New Wire Marine, we build awesome custom dash panels for boats. Our manufacturing process balances one-off creative projects with repeat OEM production. As a growing, fast-paced manufacturing company, we're seeking a Human Resources Manager who is passionate about fostering a positive, efficient, and people-first workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Own and manage full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and orientation

·       Develop and maintain job descriptions, organizational charts, and career paths

·       Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management processes

·       Oversee payroll processing and benefits administration (experience with Gusto a plus)

·       Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws

·       Support managers with coaching, training, and documentation needs

·       Spearhead employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and team events

·       Maintain HR records and metrics for reporting and process improvement

·       Partner with leadership on organizational structure, hiring plans, and culture initiatives

·       Maintain and update the employee handbook and HR policies


What We’re Looking For:

·       3+ years of progressive HR experience (manufacturing or similar industry preferred)

·       Strong understanding of HR practices, employment laws, and compliance

·       Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills

·       Confident communicator who is approachable, empathetic, and proactive

·       Hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to roll up your sleeves

·       Ability to maintain confidentiality while remaining professional and approachable

·       Experience managing payroll, benefits administration, and HR systems

·       Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
