Summary

Job Description As ROCOs HR Manager, you will be based out of our corporate office in Bloomfield Hills, MI in support of our 120+ team members across our portfolio of multi-family housing communities. Reporting to the CEO, you will use your experience and knowledge to manage HR policies, procedures, and strategies, including training and development, the administration of policies and procedures, and employee relations resolutions. Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities Collaborate with our corporate leadership team to drive programs and initiatives across ROCO Stay connected to all areas of our business through participation and engagement Develop, plan, and implement human resources programs and policies for staffing, performance management, compensation, benefits, employee relations, training, and health and safety Determinestaffing needs, develophiring strategies, and leademployment branding initiatives to support full-cycle recruiting Ensures human resources strategies align with organizational business goals Evaluate and improves upon human resources processes and strategies Own full authority for personnel actions Maintain extensive knowledge of department processes Respond to employee concerns and act accordingly to resolve them Provide guidance and support to managers on employee-related issues Identify practical solutions to HR issues, and recommending appropriate action plans Additional duties as assigned or needed Required Skills & Functions Bachelors degree in relevant field required HR certification or professional designation preferred 7+ years of professional, progressive HR experience Experience managing a team preferred Possess and applies a broad knowledge of human resources principles, practices, and procedures Strong organizational ability to develop and implement cohesive plans Foundational understanding of employment law principals including those related to FMLA, ADA and EEOC Ability to prioritize duties and efficiently complete responsibilities with minimal supervision Proficient with Excel and Word Outstanding interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, particularly with members of senior management Highest level of honesty and ethics Ability to travel to business sites as needed About ROCO: Founded in 2012, ROCO Real Estate and ROCO Management are privately owned and operated full service real estate investment and management companies headquartered in Bloomfield Hills, MI.
