Summary

FEV is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager. The right person will be highly motivated and have broad experience in human resources.


Job Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business objectives
  • Oversee the day-to-day HR Operations including onboarding, off-boarding, benefits, leaves of absence, compensation, employee relations, immigration, mobility, talent acquisition, performance management and talent management
  • Collaborate with leadership to understand organizational goals and translate them into HR initiatives
  • Responsible for ongoing development, communication and implementation of new programs and policies; develop people-related communications programs, policies, and procedures
  • Provide oversight and guidance to HR team to ensure consistency in execution and compliance; coaches and mentors HR team; delegates work and holds team accountable; drives HR initiatives and continuous improvement with a consistent focus to streamline and automate existing processes
  • Serve as point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and resolution.
  • Work with managers to address performance issues and implement improvement plans and corrective action as needed.
  • Serve as advisor and thought partner to the executive team on people strategy, organizational effectiveness, and workforce planning
  • Oversee complex employee relations issues, organizational transitions, and compliance matters with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Partner with and influence leadership by establishing credibility, trust, and rapport throughout the organization to be an effective listener and problem solver of business and people issues
  • Support career development initiatives in collaboration with the leadership team to foster employee growth and retention within the organization.
  • Lead annual performance review cycle with the leadership team.
  • Oversee training record retention and ensures ISO training compliance
  • Utilize HR metrics and data analytics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and make informed decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Including but not limited to FMLA, ADA, EEOC, MIOSHA, Environmental regulations, HIPAA and other federal and state laws and regulations
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with payroll, IT and other business units to ensure positive employee experience.
  • Partners with global HR team on company-wide initiatives.
  • Completes other duties as assigned


Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in human resources is preferred, bachelor's degree in related field is required, SPHR, SHRM-SCP is strongly desired.
  • 10+ years' progressive experience in human resources is required, minimum 5 years managing an HR team.
  • Strong knowledge of HR Best Practices, employment laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience using HCM systems; SAP SuccessFactors experience preferred.
  • A strategic thinker who can balance the needs of employees with the day-to-day demands of the business.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change and build a performance culture.
  • Demonstrated ability as an operational HR leader; able to identify needs and set and execute plans
  • Ability to influence at varying levels across the organization.
  • Sense of urgency and ability to prioritize.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
