Summary

Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (First month onsite for training)


Job Overview:

The Human Resources Coordinator will support and facilitate HR processes across business locations with a specific focus on safety-related employee relations. The ideal candidate is professional, resourceful, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This is a temporary position with both administrative and employee relations responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a liaison between employees and management to address and resolve safety-related employee relations issues
  • Implement, administer, and advise on company safety policies and procedures
  • Provide guidance to management on progressive discipline related to safety incidents
  • Conduct investigations into safety-related employee complaints or concerns and ensure timely documentation
  • Maintain accurate records of investigations and upload documentation into the case management system
  • Identify trends or recurring safety issues and recommend solutions to improve workplace culture and compliance
  • Mentor and train HR team members on best practices, especially related to safety
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Assist with the I-9 employment eligibility verification process
  • Perform additional HR-related tasks as needed


Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; some college coursework preferred
  • Experience: 1–3 years of HR Coordinator experience preferred
  • Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and strong decision-making ability
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and initiative


Additional Information:

  • This position will start onsite for the first month (training), then shift to a hybrid schedule
  • A laptop and charger will be provided. Candidates will be responsible for their own home office setup, including internet, phone service, and any peripherals (monitors, keyboard, mouse, etc.)
