Position Overview:
We are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. This role will play a crucial part as a liaison between the owners, our HR administrator (ProService), and our employees, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of HR processes. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer the recruitment process, including creating and posting job openings, interviewing, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with department heads.
Manage social media platforms for HR-related content.
Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing paperwork and conducting orientation sessions.
Support the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, PTO, etc.
Coordinate and facilitate employee training and development initiatives.
Administer and support initiatives that uphold the standards and values of the company.
Create and modify Company SOPs.
Assist with employee relations by addressing routine inquiries and providing support on HR policies and procedures.
Help organize company events, team-building activities, and employee recognition programs.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
Prepare HR-related reports as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
1-3 years of experience in human resources or administrative roles.
Strong understanding of HR principles and practices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR software.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Familiarity with employment laws and regulations is a plus.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
