Advent Talent Group is seeking a HR & Administrative Coordinator to support both human resources and day-to-day administrative operations, ensuring organizational efficiency and alignment with a local non-profit in Eagan, MN. This part-time role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a mission-driven environment and enjoys supporting staff and leadership in various capacities.
Overview:
Contract: ASAP START
Pay Rate: $24.00-25.00/hr.
Schedule: 20 hours per week
Location: Hybrid in Eagan, MN
Responsibilities:
- Human Resources & Compliance: Maintain confidential employee records, assist with onboarding and payroll, support performance reviews, and ensure adherence to HR policies and training requirements.
- Administrative & Office Support: Manage internal communications, draft correspondence, maintain organized filing systems, and ensure smooth day-to-day office operations.
- Scheduling & Calendar Management: Oversee the Executive Director’s calendar, coordinate meetings, track deadlines, and ensure efficient scheduling across teams.
- Meetings & Event Coordination: Plan and execute events, prepare meeting materials, document minutes, and handle logistics for both internal and external engagements.
- Executive Support: Provide high-level assistance to the Executive Director, manage communications, conduct research for special projects, and support strategic initiatives.
- Organizational Development: Improve administrative systems, support cross-departmental initiatives, update policies, and contribute to team planning and mission-driven projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or related field
- (Or 4 years of relevant HR/administrative experience in place of a degree)
- Experience in HR support, payroll assistance, and office administration
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
