As an HR Business Partner Manager, you’ll act as a strategic partner to the business by being a business advocate, talent strategist, and trusted advisor to the HR team. Here you will have responsibility for embedding HR strategy into day-to-day work and providing professional HR guidance and support to relevant internal business groups with the objective of adding value to the business. This role will support US Operations, Labor, and Planning.
This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work some days on-site at the Best Buy location listed on this posting and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.
What You’ll Do
- Build partnerships with their business partners to deliver value added services to management and employees that support and enable our business objectives.
- Provide strategic human resources counsel to drive the successful execution of business strategies to optimize talent, structure, process, and culture
- Serve as a trusted advisor and coach to business leaders in support of their leadership effectiveness as well as influence business outcomes
- Provide proactive thought leadership around making the best possible decisions for employees and leaders
- Raises issues while providing potential solutions that impact the business and the enterprise by leveraging cross functional partnerships
- Indirectly lead others through projects/programs in support of strategic HR initiatives
- Support day-to-day functional HRBP operations by using systems, processes and tools.
Basic qualifications
- 3 years of experience collaborating with and influencing stakeholders and business partners
- 3 years of experience in human resources, employee relations, talent management or HR project management
- Proven experience building and sustaining relationships with senior leadership
- Effective conflict resolution skills
Preferred qualifications
- Experience working in US Operations, Labor, and Planning
- HR generalist experience in supporting large corporate strategic functions
