Summary

arvard Resource Solutions are hiring a Human Resources and Operations Administrator to provide support in the Birmingham, MI area. The position is open due to an increase in business activities. Outstanding organization to support and work for!


POSITION TYPE: Full time. Direct Hire. Hybrid.

PAY: $65,000 - $75,000 annually based on education and skill level.


Requirements of the HR and Operations Administrator:

  • High school diploma is required. Candidates with college education are preferred.
  • Non-Profit industry experience is a major plus. High level of professionalism is needed.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant corporate work experience that includes Human Resources, Payroll Processing and Administrative Support activities.
  • A person who is good at managing multiple priorities and staying on top of details for a company.
  • Strong, positive communication skills. Able to interface with people at all levels and support various department’s needs.
  • Self-motivated person who is proactive across all job functions.
  • Technical skills with MS Office including Excel and payroll processing software.


Duties of the HR and Operations Administrator:

  • Assist the company in building out human resources and office systems needed to support the next decade of planned activities.
  • Support job description development, candidate screening, interview coordination, onboarding, and training activities.
  • Continuously develop and execute company training and team building activities.
  • Update and maintain employee records including address, bank account, deduction changes, training schedules, etc.
  • Perform as the sole person processing a small semimonthly payroll using a third-party service. Provide support for employee questions. Manage PTO and facilitate benefit enrollment paperwork.
  • Responsible for year-end processing of W2’s and other payroll tax forms, etc.
  • Further develop, implement, and maintain safety processes and procedures for the organization.
  • Create/manage the company operations manual.
  • Assist as a backup in entering vendor invoices into the system needing payment.
  • Set up new employees with company software logins and passwords needed to accomplish job tasks.
  • Point of contact for IT user support tickets, hardware/software purchases, and communications as needed.
  • Completion of general administrative activities as requested by management.
