Summary

Summary of Position:
  • To support the Human Resources Department with HR and Safety Administrative functions, Recruitment and On-boarding functions. Some of the other key responsibilities of this position are:
  • Processing hires and terminations within the Paylocity HRIS.
  • Managing the New Hiring Orientation and Safety training processes. 
  • Supporting the communication blasts that are sent out to employees. 
  • Supporting the maintenance of the Self-Service Portal.
  • Supporting the setup of online training on the Mineral system.
  • Managing the callouts in Daily Chats, and employee attendance changes. 
  • Assist with the coordination of special events for employees and the company. 
  • Review information of hires within the Paylocity HRIS.
  • Review I-9 documents and complete the E-Verify
  • Support or lead with investigation of employee issue
  • Follow-up with medical documentation from employees or medical facilities
  • Oversee the scanning of HR documents into HR files
  • Administering and tracking of 30 and 90 day-reviews completion. 


Work Shift: Saturday 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Thursday 8 am to 5:00 pm.

Requirements
  • A candidate with a PHR Certification is preferred but not required. 
  • The candidate must have a minimum of three years' experience working in a human resources support role, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Experience or knowledge of using the Paylocity and Mineral systems is preferred. 
  • Knowledge of the laws that govern human resources, safety, and recruitment practices is essential. 
  • Candidate must be able to extremely organized and can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
  • The ability to work well with others in addition to superior verbal and written communication skills, is required. 
  • Experience using TEAMS, Microsoft Word, and Excel is necessary. 
  • Will need to be available to handle special projects and flexibility to work overtime as needed.
