Summary

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the recruitment and onboarding process, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and conducting interviews
  • Coordinate and schedule training and development programs for employees
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
  • Assist with payroll processing and benefits administration
  • Provide support for employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
  • Assist with the implementation and maintenance of HRIS systems, such as Workday or ADP
  • Support HR projects and initiatives as needed

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative or HR role
  • Knowledge of employment labor laws and regulations
  • Experience with HRIS systems
  • Familiarity with recruiting processes and techniques
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Skills

Fluency in Spanish is Required.

  • Administrative skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Recruiting skills: Experience in sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and evaluating qualifications
  • HRIS skills: Familiarity with HRIS systems.
  • Employment labor law knowledge: Understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Salesforce skills: Experience using Salesforce for managing HR-related data or workflows (preferred but not required)
  • FMLA knowledge: Familiarity with Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) regulations and processes (preferred but not required)
  • Contract management: Ability to review, draft, and manage employment contracts (preferred but not required)
  • Training development: Experience in designing and delivering training programs for employees (preferred but not required)
