What's the Job?

  • Develop and execute activities on data collection and human factors user studies to inform product and engineering design directions.
  • Support human factors user studies in internal laboratory settings and in-field studies involving public sector agencies.
  • Conduct a wide range of human factors user assessments and research studies applicable to all product phases from conceptual to validation.
  • Summarize human factors and user data, both quantitatively and qualitatively.
  • Write reports and document research findings while ensuring compliance with user privacy policies and research ethics.


What's Needed?

  • Ability to employ appropriate methods and tools to address research questions effectively.
  • Experience in summarizing data and performing statistical analysis on both large and small datasets.
  • Knowledge in topics such as ergonomics, motion capture, and visual comfort.
  • Proficiency in data analysis packages like Excel, MATLAB, R, or Python.
  • 1 to 3 years of industry experience with a master's degree in relevant fields or significant research experience with a doctorate degree.
