This role ensures the accurate and efficient execution of HR operations while promoting a high standard of service to internal partners. This is an exciting opportunity to influence HR processes that directly impact employee experience and institutional effectiveness. Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Team Leadership * Supervise daily activities of the HRIS Analyst team, ensuring timely and accurate personnel action processing. * Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to develop team members in their job role and provide consultation to individuals in the preparation of personal career development plans. * Foster a collaborative, service-oriented team culture. * Collaborate with the HRIS leadership team to establish and meet operational goals and provide feedback on development opportunities. Operational Oversight * Monitor and ensure timely, accurate personnel action processing. * Implement and refine workflows to maximize efficiency and data integrity. * Lead reconciliation efforts and quality control across HRIS systems. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement * Partner with Payroll, HR Associates, HR Partners, and leaders across schools and departments to ensure smooth processing of personnel actions. * Serve as a subject matter expert for personnel actions, HRIS systems, and operational processes. * Participate in HR work groups and initiatives that support operational excellence. System & Policy Management * Maintain and update process documentation, user guides, and training materials. * Provide support on complex HRIS issues and troubleshoot discrepancies. * Ensure adherence to institutional and state-level HR policies and standards. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: * Previous experience supervising a team composed of professionals at varying levels of experience. * Proven ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions and with diverse customer groups. * Demonstrated commitment to fostering an inclusive work environment, with emphasis on career development. * Basic understanding of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). * Strong judgment and initiative, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet firm deadlines, and maintain attention to detail in a high-volume, time-sensitive setting. * Experience fostering a respectful, professional, and civil environment for individuals from diverse backgrounds-including faculty, staff, and students. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience working in a higher education environment. * Proficiency in processing personnel actions using Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). * Background in Human Resources or demonstrated knowledge of employee benefits administration.
