Job Description

We are looking to add an HRIS Analyst to join our Talent & Culture team in Waukee, IA. You will monitor, maintain, and elevate our HR technology systems while working with various stakeholders in the organization including Talent & Culture, Learning, Growth & Development, Finance, Compliance, and Information Technology.

Here’s a Bit Of What You’d Do

  • Provide Workday technical and functional expertise for complex and day to day processes supporting all functions in the HCM and FIN modules.
  • Maintain employee information that is accurate, complete and fulfills legal requirements.
  • Build, test, and create successful outcomes leveraging comprehensive understanding of HR practices.
  • Documents and processes employee-related changes, including hires, terminations, job changes, benefit updates and payroll transactions. Ensure HRIS or related systems are updated appropriately.
  • Develops workflows in HRIS to improve efficiencies for users.
  • Maintain, organize and determine appropriate set-up and design of information within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to support the organizations data management and reporting needs.
  • Performs uploads of data into the systems.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of organizational data within the HRIS.
  • Participates in compliance and governance related items as it relates to benefits, payroll and required reporting (throughout the year and at year-end).
  • Supports the HR team in other general day-to-days projects, as needed.

You’d also need to be equipped with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to do the job, including, but not limited to, having:

  • Process improvement: Focus on enhancement and improvement when doing tasks in system or when consulting about system.
  • Critical thinking: Utilize skills and understanding of technical and functional capabilities with consulting and configuring system.
  • Time Management: Prioritize timelines and overall goals of organization when prioritizing and competing work.
  • Integrity: Utilize respect and reverence when considering confidential information and practices entrusted to you and your role.

And, let’s not forget the qualifications for the job:

  • Education: High school diploma; college degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years professional experience working directly with Workday HCM preferred; 3 years Workday FIN helpful; Workday Adaptive and integration experience helpful
