Description

We are looking for an experienced HR Recruiter to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Arlington, Virginia. This role requires expertise in full-cycle recruiting for positions requiring security clearances, such as Secret, Top Secret, and others. If you excel in sourcing specialized talent, fostering relationships, and navigating competitive markets, this opportunity will allow you to make a meaningful impact.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and extending offers to candidates with security clearances.
  • Develop and execute strategic recruitment plans tailored to roles within government and defense-related sectors.
  • Leverage various sourcing methods, such as job boards, social media, detail-oriented networks, and industry events, to identify candidates with relevant experience.
  • Assess candidates thoroughly to ensure their qualifications, experience, and clearance levels align with job requirements.
  • Verify security clearances and ensure compliance with federal regulations for cleared positions.
  • Build strong partnerships with clients by providing insights into market trends, salary benchmarks, and talent availability.
  • Maintain long-term relationships with candidates to create a pipeline of experienced individuals for future roles.
  • Advocate for candidates by highlighting their skills and aligning them with client expectations.
  • Accurately document candidate information and placement details within applicant tracking systems.
  • Ensure adherence to all company and federal regulations related to recruiting cleared personnel.


Requirements

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, specifically for positions requiring security clearances.
  • In-depth knowledge of security clearance levels, including Secret, Top Secret, and TS/SCI, and their associated requirements.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively manage relationships with candidates and clients.
  • Ability to multitask and organize priorities across multiple job requisitions and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems, Microsoft Office, and digital recruiting platforms.
  • Familiarity with tools such as ADP Workforce Now, CareerBuilder, CRM systems, and Indeed.
  • Experience conducting background checks and managing benefit functions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is preferred but not required.
