This role serves as a key driver of organizational success by ensuring our talent strategy and culture directly support business growth and transformation. We are expecting this role to be a dynamic HR Manager to manage talent Management, Development, DEIB and employee engagement pillar for China. This role is pivotal in landing talent strategies that drive growth, fostering a high-performance culture, and creating an engaging workplace where employees thrive. It also needs to partner closely with Group and global teams to localize and implement China strategies with global frameworks and best practices.
As a trusted advisor to business leader and HRBP team, this role will champion innovative talent practices, elevate stakeholder collaboration, and infuse energy into our employee experience.
Responsibilities
Talent & Leadership
- Design and implement end-to-end talent strategies (assessment, development, retention) aligned with business goals, with emphasis on HIPOs and succession planning.
- Partner with senior leaders to diagnose talent gaps and deploy targeted interventions (e.g., competency frameworks, mentoring programs).
- Reimagine performance management to foster agility, continuous feedback, and growth
Learning & Development
- Curate impactful learning programs (leadership, mindset, soft skills) leveraging global resources while localizing content.
- Measure L&D effectiveness through data-driven insights and ROI analysis.
- Introduce innovative learning methods (e.g., micro-learning, gamification) to boost engagement.
Organizational Culture & Employee Engagement
- Champion company culture by embedding core values into talent processes, communications, and rituals.
- Design and execute employee engagement initiatives (e.g., pulse surveys, team-building activities) to enhance morale and retention.
- Drive internal employer branding (e.g., storytelling, ambassador programs) to strengthen pride and belonging.
DEIB
- Land the DEI strategy, ensuring diverse talent pipelines and inclusive development opportunities.
- Serve as the key liaison for global projects, providing regional insights and advocating for local needs while maintaining global consistency.
Qualifications
- Experience: 6+ years in HRBP, talent management, L&D, OD, or culture/engagement roles, preferably in multinational settings.
- Innovative Thinker: Balances best practices with creative solutions
- Collaborative Influencer: Builds trust with stakeholders at all levels; bridges global/local needs.
- Data-Driven: can use metrics to assess engagement, culture, and talent program impact.
- Energetic Facilitator: solid experience of bringing workshops, town halls, and learning sessions to life.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) in HR, Language or related field
- Experience supporting retail populations
- Very fluent in English, for effective communication with global team
