What You Will Do
As the HR Business Partner for ELU business, you will oversee all aspects of human resources management for 50~100 employees. Your responsibilities will span the entire HR spectrum, including recruiting, compensation management, performance evaluations, and employee development.
By fostering a supportive and engaging work environment, you will help align HR initiatives with Yanmar’s business goals. Your role is crucial in attracting top talent, nurturing employee growth, and ensuring competitive and equitable compensation practices while maintaining compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
We are looking for a person with strong social and interpersonal skills that understands how to operate in a multi-cultural organization that is still in the process of being established.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: responsible for the recruitment process done by internal and external recruiters. You will coordinate the process with external recruitment parties.
- HR Policy & Compliance: Ensure compliance with local labor laws and HR policies, maintaining updated documentation and providing necessary training as needed.
- Compensation Management: Develop and manage compensation structures, ensuring they are competitive, equitable, and aligned with Yanmar’s strategic objectives.
- Onboarding and offboarding: making sure that ELU’s new members are onboarded in a good way, taking responsibility for the systems and processes that support this important phase of joining (and in some cases also leaving) the company.
- Performance Evaluation: Oversee the implementation of performance review processes, providing guidance and support to managers and employees in setting and achieving performance goals.
- Employee Development: Identify training and development opportunities to enhance employee skills and career growth, supporting a culture of continuous learning.
- Employee Relations & Engagement: Foster a positive work environment through engagement initiatives, conflict resolution, and handling employee inquiries and concerns.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of HR management experience, ideally in a technical or industrial setting, where innovation and rapid growth are the norm.
- Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders - you’re a natural collaborator who can align diverse groups around shared goals.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- In-depth knowledge of Dutch and/or German labor laws and HR best practices.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills - you thrive in fast-paced environments where structure and clarity are key.
- Hands-on experience with HR systems and software tools.
