Summary

Position Summary

The Human Resources Intern supports various administrative and daily activities of the HR department. This internship provides hands-on experience in HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and compliance.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Support new hire onboarding by preparing paperwork, coordinating/conducting orientation, and ensuring compliance with HR policies.
  • Assist with maintaining and updating employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Research and support HR projects as needed.
  • Assist in tracking and organizing HR metrics and reports.
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Support the HR team in compliance and documentation efforts, including policy updates and record-keeping.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support HR and Recruitment functions.

This is an unpaid internship

Experience, Education, Certifications/Licenses

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Prior internship or relevant coursework in human resources, recruitment, or employee relations is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and familiarity with HRIS systems is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
