GalaxEye Space, is a deep-tech Space start-up spun off from IIT-Madras and is currently based in Bengaluru, Karnataka. We are dedicated to advancing the frontiers of space exploration. Our mission is to develop cutting-edge solutions that address the challenges of the modern space industry by specialising in developing a constellation of miniaturised, multi-sensor SAR+EO satellites. Our new age technology enables all-time, all-weather imaging, this with leveraging advanced processing and AI capabilities, we ensure near real-time data delivery and are glad to highlight that we have successfully demonstrated these imaging capabilities, the first of its kind in the world, across various platforms such as Drones as well as HAPS (High-Altitude Pseudo Satellites).

As an HR Generalist Intern, you will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices. Additionally, you will be involved in Brand Positioning Discussions to provide inputs based on Market Benchmarking and Trends. Being part of an early stage DeepTech startup, you will be one of the first members in the HR Team, thus playing a key role in shaping a long term journey!

Roles & Responsibilities

• Scout for potential candidates to join the team as employees, based on discussion and feedback from Departmental Leads
  
• Facilitate the Recruitment pipeline, from Resume Screening, for interns and employees as per the needs
  
• Collate Focal Points to recruit employees and interns; Set up and maintain communication channels with respective stakeholders
  
• Track health of various teams within the organization and identify requirements and vacancies
  
• Administer Employee Onboarding & Management - Entry Logistics, Onboarding Material, Payroll, Insurance, Employee Survey, etc.
  
• Explore opportunities for intra- and inter-team interactions
  
• Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise

• Can start immediately in Bangalore.
  
• Availability for more than 3 months of full time internship
  
• Done Technical Courses/Degree relevant to HRM Course of Study
