Job Summary
The HR Compliance Administrator supports the HR team in ensuring that Eyemart Express complies with labor laws, company policies, and industry regulations. This role will assist with audits, maintain compliance records, support Leave of Absences and support training initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Support the revision of company policies, including the employee handbook.
Assist with the preparation of reports on compliance status for management.
Process and track workers’ compensation claims, leave of absence requests
Communicate compliance-related information to employees, including training schedules and policy updates.
Support HR leadership in implementing corrective actions and compliance improvement initiatives
Communicating with employees to provide information on leave entitlements, procedures, and required documentation
Tracking various types of leaves, including continuous, intermittent, paid, and unpaid leave
Monitoring absence status and coordinating with managers with return-to-work accommodations as needed
Managing leave files and providing necessary paperwork to employees requesting a leave of absence
Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
1–3 years of experience in HR compliance, HR administration, or a related role.
Knowledge of labor laws, OSHA regulations, and FCRA compliance is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail, organized, and able to work effectively with employees and management to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
Strong organizational and administrative skills.
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Work Schedule & Compensation
Nonexempt, hourly position eligible for overtime pay.
Standard work hours with potential for occasional extended hours during audits or compliance reviews.
