Summary

Overview

  • Lead HR agenda of West Division, China Foods
  • HR Professionals who work deep in the business and play a critical role in linking, translating and integrating HR work and priorities with line partners
  • Supports recurring HR services and processes with HQ HRBPs, COE teams and PEP Ops - with a focus performance management, local talent development agendas, maintaining positive local labor relations, employee engagement and culture, change management
  • Represents HR to the site and geography-based managers/employees. Plays lead role in the proactive ELR actions locally
  • Provide local dispute resolution through strong employee relationships
  • Labor relations liaison with local union organizations (if applicable) to resolve grievances, to lead local negotiations for reorgs and relevant pay/contract negotiations
  • Assist inexperienced managers in making balanced business decisions while advocating for appropriate employee interventions.
  • Serve as a trusted employee advisor at all levels, provide effective coaching to division leadership peer group and lower level talents as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Localize and activate global HR solutions, core processes and policies
  • Manage site employee relations
  • Administer local Labor relations
  • Execute tools/programs to drive employee engagement
  • Feed local pulse to HRBP
  • Execute communications
  • Ensure policy consistency/compliance with rules and laws
  • Provide career coaching for local talent, with emphasis on developing new manager talent
  • Help site solve business problems (turnover, absenteeism) -development and leverage of COEs
  • Local community/government employment agency contact
  • Assist TA with local sources of talent
  • Provide input & Support for local succession plans to COEs/Ops
  • Plays an active role in PepsiCo values/culture/engagement work(leveraging the COE work for local activation).
  • Manages Conflict & Speak Up Investigation & Resolution accordingly to the Global CoC guidelines (if applicable)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or above
  • 10 years working experience in HR BP field
  • Conversational English
  • Strong Employee and Labor Relations capability
  • Able to build trust with large groups of employees
  • Coach to senior and middle managers
  • Able to gain strong Local Business Knowledge & Insights on an accelerated pace
  • Able to harness community of service to deliver solutions
  • Strong HR execution skills
  • Able to partner with HR COE/Ops teams in delivering across the agenda
  • Balances competing priorities without losing momentum behind execution
  • Translates strategies into plans that can be effectively executed
  • Takes appropriate, well-reasoned risks
  • Minimizes or removes barriers that get in the way of achieving results
