JOB DESCRIPTION
FUNCTION: The Coordinator of Housing Services oversees the operation of Dayspring Housing services, including identification of housing units, inspections, landlord relations, customer satisfaction, ensuring all units are filled in a timely manner and utilizing available resources to come to a positive outcome.

Conduct periodic inspections of units and various parts of the grounds to ensure that everything is in working order. Participate in scheduled inspections by Baltimore City.
Provide necessary communication to landlords regarding upcoming inspections and results of inspections.
Develop communication strategies with Dayspring case management staff regarding client housing conditions.
Manages housing services to ensure all housing regulations and reporting requirements are met.
Ensures that MOHS funding source reporting requirements are met; coordinates reporting, confirms accuracy of reports. Coordinates statistical reporting for MOHS funding source.
Responsible for monthly CDR reporting, RSAR completion in a timely manner.
Utilize customer service skills when clients have concerns or suggestions;problem-solve and utilize available resources to reach positive outcomes.
Responsible for developing a tenant property database that includes lease renewals, recertifications, landlord information
Develop a communication system with landlords to ensure that tenant repairs are responded to in a timely manner
Prepare lease summaries for clients
Do pre-inspection of housing units
Conduct move out inspection with clients
Facilitate Landlord symposium and new landlord orientation
Other duties as assigned
RELATIONSHIP:
Is accountable to the Housing Program Director of Dayspring Programs, Inc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree. At least one year of demonstrably successful experience of substantial responsibility in related areas of property management. Ability to work collaboratively with other staff. Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel. Experience with Baltimore City Housing and funding sources for rental assistance.
REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to work flexible schedule, with some evening and weekend work. Must be able to provide own transportation. PERSONAL QUALITIES AND SKILLS REQUIRED: Ability to understand, respect and appreciate people of diverse ethnic, racial, religious and economic back-rounds, both as individuals, and in groups.

Ability to communicate and to work cooperatively with staff, members, volunteers and the public, and keeping channels of communication open and using consultation, coordination and clearance appropriately.
Ability to organize and transmit information clearly, both in writing and through personal contact, including the ability to train others in using Dayspring Programs, Inc. procedures and forms.
Ability to work in sensitive situations and to maintain confidentiality.
Ability and willingness to participate in available job-related study and training which may involve occasional overnights travel away from home.
Intermediate computer skills (ability to use Microsoft office suite and ability to learn other programs)
